I’m an academic who has been working in the field as a graduate student TA and professor since 2005. During that time I have noticed an increase in the amount of stress and anxiety that college students undergo, as well as experienced that stress first hand as a graduate student and as a professor myself. After working with many students for years to help them manage their coursework while struggling through their personal issues, I decided to create a space where I could post reflections and content to help students and academics manage the stressors they face in their lives.
Much of the content here comes from years of practicing mindfulness and seeking resources for personal growth through difficult circumstances. Eventually I learned how to turn struggle into expansion and awareness instead of misery and defeat, and I wish to share those techniques with you. I strive to provide thoughtful content to help you lead a healthier life through reflection, mindfulness, and meditation. It is my hope that I can be a small stepping stone in your journey to greater inner wholeness.
